  1. The Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop has been on the market for a while and has a good reotpatiun. But is it the best option available if you are looking to buy a new steam mop? Let’s take a closer look at it’s features, strengths and weaknesses, and what consumers have to say about it before we make that determination. The Bissell 1867-7 has some good design features for a steam mop. It has a low profile mop head which is great for getting under cabinets and furniture. Some steam mops have the water tank located in the mop head which makes it big and bulky, the Bissell does not. The Bissell’s water tank is located in the body of the steam mop and is removable for filling. Another great design feature of the Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop is that it’s mop head can swivel 360 degrees. The ability to do this makes the mop easier to maneuver and use. The steam mop heats up quickly, is lightweight at just 7 lbs., and has a quick release cord wrap. It has an 11 inch cleaning path and a filter to prevent dirt and minerals from clogging the mop. It comes with two micro fiber mop pads that are machine washable. The Bissell 1867-7 also has some design features that aren’t so great. In order to produce steam while mopping you have to push a trigger. This can be annoying and means extra work on the user’s part. Many other popular steam mops produce steam automatically when turned on. This steam mop also has a water tank that is on the small side. If you have a lot of floors to mop, you may have to fill up more frequently than you would like with it. It also has a cord that is a little on the short side. At 17 feet, it is short compared to most other steam mops. When it comes to customer reviews on the Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop, many people are happy with the mop’s performance. It had a good share of positive reviews to it’s name with compliments on it’s performance and ease of use. It also, however, had it’s fair share of complaints. It seems many people had problems with the steam mop leaving the floor too wet. Others reported the water tank was leaking on them. And finally, I also saw some complaints from consumers that their Bissell Steam Mop broke on them, in some cases after only several months of use. All of this information should be weighed before deciding whether or not the Bissell 1867-7 is the steam mop for you. There are of course other, more highly rated steam mops that are certainly worth looking at.
